Leicester City manager Claude Puel has revealed that Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi puts in a great work rate on the pitch while playing for the Foxes.
The 21 year-old midfielder who arrived at the King Power in the January of 2017 to fill in the void left by Ngolo Kante who moved to premier league champions Chelsea, and has become a vital player for the Foxes and his coach revealed to reporters.
“He puts in some fantastic work on the pitch.
“I think also he improves with the ball and plays with quality.
“I think he can make further progress in this area. He has great potential for the future.”
Ndidi won the Leicester City Young Player of the Year award for 2016-17, despite only playing for half of the season. He is also rated the 11th most valuable U21 player by the CIES Football Observatory, above the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Asensio and Youri Tielemans.
Ndidi has featured 14 times for the Super Eagles of Nigeria without scoring a goal thus far since making his debut in an international friendly against DR Congo in 2015 .
